NBA Ballers is a game that is similar to Streetball AND1 Streetball and a similar NBA Jam gameplay series. The game features fiction NBA analyst Bob Benson (voice and represented by Terry Abler) and MC Supernatural commenting. Supernatural makes numerous references to the series of Mortal Kombat and NFL Blitz two games published by Midway. The game also retains the “drive on fire” feature that is in many, if not all, sports games published by Midway. Most moves were in the game were the actual street ballers that provided some of its movements for the game.
The game was followed by a version for PlayStation, Ballers Portable: Rebound and a sequel, NBA Ballers: Phenom.
Most games are 1-in-1. Others can be 1-on-1-on-1, which means you have three players each playing only for themselves. The games are 2 minutes and the winner is the best of the three innings, each round is 11 points per game where the winner must win at least two points. If the time allowed, the player with the most points will be declared the winner of this round. Jackpot: Located in the upper left corner of the screen during playback: when the player withdraws style moves will earn points as a boat at the top of the screen and when a player gets a progressive jackpot.
